About Ryan Mastro
Ryan Mastro has spent his entire career immersed in the finance and options industries. Ryan began his career as a clerk on the PHLX and worked his way up to market maker and specialist. For the past three years he has been educating the public on smart investing decisions, which included many alternative strategies including options. With an extensive background in options, Ryan has been teaching all levels of investors worldwide about the benefits of options and sharing his professional experience and style of trading. Ryan Mastro – Majored in finance and economics at Drexel University, then traded on the Philadelphia Stock Exchange (PHLX), as an options market maker and options specialist. Ryan also worked for Susquehanna Investment Group on the PHLX, which is now one of the largest professional investment firms in the USA. In the past, he worked on a trading desk for an AMEX based firm trading order flow from the big Wall St. desks in NYC .
After leaving the floor, and armed with many years of options knowledge and experience, Ryan started his own company and developed cutting edge options trading tools and technologies for options traders. At one point he worked for iVolatility.com consulting on developing their suite of high end professional options tools as well.
Ryan has performed intensive research to become a successful proactive trader over the years. This research, focused on technical analysis and options trading concepts, lead to many proprietary software programs and scanners here at OU which our members and customers benefit from. He is also an expert in the financial markets, is currently close to getting his CMT (Certified Market Technician) license and has been an Options University Instructor for over three years.
