| Topic: | "How The New NFA Regulations Affect Your Forex Trading – What You Must Know To Maintain Nice Forex Profits" |
On August 3, 2009, the National Futures Association (NFA) issued new regulations that restrict many aspects of profitable Forex trading.
These new rules relate to FIFO (First In, First Out) trading. In other words, when a trader opens more than one position in the same currency (very important for hedging purposes), the trader must then close the positions in the order they were opened.
For example, if a trader opened a trade in the EUR/USD currency, and then continued to open other positions in the EUR/USD currency, that first position needs to be closed before any subsequent positions the trader opened are closed.
This means Forex traders will no longer have the ability to selectively place stop-loss or limit orders on individual trades, nor will traders be able to modify or close trades from the “Open Positions” window.
On Tuesday night’s webinar, Josh Lampel will review these regulations and let you know how they will affect your Forex trading from here on out. He will also reveal some possible solutions to this potentially profit-killing problem.
Josh will also demonstrate the Global Futures trading platform, and why you should consider the company for all your Forex trading needs.
The basic outline of the webinar will be as follows:

Forex trading
has large potential rewards, but also large potential risk. You must be
aware of the risks and be willing to accept them in order to invest in
the options/forex markets. Don't trade with money you can't afford to lose.
This website is neither a solicitation nor an offer to Buy/Sell
options/forex. No representation is being made that any account will or is
likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those discussed on this
website. The past performance of any trading system or methodology is
not necessarily indicative of future results.
Forex (off-exchange foreign currency futures and options or FX) trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. The value of currencies may fluctuate and investors may lose all or more than their original investments. Risks also include, but are not limited to, the potential for changing political and/or economic conditions that may substantially affect the price and/or liquidity of a currency. The impact of seasonal and geopolitical events is already factored into market prices. The leveraged nature of FX trading means that any market movement will have an equally proportional effect on your deposited funds and such may work against you as well as for you. The use of leverage can lead to large losses as well as gains. Under certain conditions you may find it impossible to liquidate a position. This can occur, for example, when a market becomes illiquid. The placement of contingent orders by you, such as “stop‐loss” or “stop‐limit” orders will not necessarily limit or prevent losses because market conditions may make it impossible to execute such orders. In no event should the content of this correspondence be construed as an express or implied promise or guarantee that you will profit or that losses can or will be limited in any manner whatsoever. Past results are no indication of future performance. Information contained in this correspondence is intended for informational purposes only and was obtained from sources believed to be reliable. HYPOTHETICAL OR SIMULATED PERFORMANCE RESULTS HAVE CERTAIN
LIMITATIONS. UNLIKE AN ACTUAL PERFORMANCE RECORD, SIMULATED RESULTS DO
NOT REPRESENT ACTUAL TRADING. ALSO, SINCE THE TRADES HAVE NOT BEEN
EXECUTED, THE RESULTS MAY HAVE UNDER-OR-OVER COMPENSATED FOR THE
IMPACT, IF ANY, OF CERTAIN MARKET FACTORS, SUCH AS LACK OF LIQUIDITY.
SIMULATED TRADING PROGRAMS IN GENERAL ARE ALSO SUBJECT TO THE FACT THAT
THEY ARE DESIGNED WITH THE BENEFIT OF HINDSIGHT. NO REPRESENTATION IS
BEING MADE THAT ANY ACCOUNT WILL OR IS LIKELY TO ACHIEVE PROFIT OR
LOSSES SIMILAR TO THOSE SHOWN.
